Installing Better MC 4 (BMC4)
- Make sure Minecraft is installed. NOTE: M Based Mac users should makesure to download the ARM version from the minecraft website.
- Download CurseForge if you haven’t already:
- Start the CurseForge App
- Install Minecraft Java Edition
- Once installed click on Minecraft Java Edition and in the search bar and enter BMC4. Select Install and wait for the mod pack to download
- Go to My Modpacks tab and select and play Better MC. This may take a while. NOTE: You will have to authenticate with the Microsoft Account you use to play Minecraft Vanilla.
- This will start the Minecraft Launcher and you will have the option for the version Better MC (along with vanilla and any others.
- Once Better MC starts you can select multi-player:
- Add Server
- Server Name:
Bamboo Lounge
- Server Address:
minecraft.bamboolounge.com
- Save and select Join Server!
- Don’t forget to check out the Quests found in your inventory screen on the top left.
How to Fix Warning About Default Memory on Startup
- Using the CurseForge Launcher you can increase the memory to 9024 or higher following these instructions.
