“Truly a middle finger”: Humane bricking $700 AI Pins with limited refunds
When this was introduced I never understood who was going to buy this when they had a super computer in their pocket. At the end of the day this always seemed like a play to get a high valuation in order to sell off the assets for profit and not really sell a product for any length of time.
Notably, Humane raised $241 million to make its pin and was reportedly valued at $1 billion before launch. Last year, Humane was seeking a sale price of $750 million to $1 billion, according to Bloomberg.
